A unique part of your stay at the Siempang Forest Lodge is the privileged opportunity to venture into the wildlife sanctuary on one of our excursions, where some of the most endangered wildlife in Cambodia may be glimpsed.
These range from al fresco dining in beautiful forested locations, to boat trips along secluded areas of the Sekong River, or mountain biking along the forest trails. For those interested in viewing particular wildlife, our expert guides can arrange day trips to look for Siamese crocodiles, the endangered banteng, or some of Cambodia’s most rare and iconic birds, like the giant and white-shouldered ibises. By special arrangement a vulture feeding can be organised where three Critically Endangered species can be watched at close range from the comfort of a hide.
