OVERVIEW
Our architects designed Siempang Forest Lodge to settle into the landscape like a natural form. Fifteen safari tents arc throughout the trees, each one placed on a hardwood deck elevated above the forest floor, giving it the lightest possible footprint. We took special care to fashion our resort around the trees, even incorporating the standing trunks into the design, with each tent nestled into its own private space.
Arriving guests are welcomed at our hospitality rotunda with a cool drink and an introduction to the lodge and facilities.
To the west, a flower meadow and arching moat produce a stunning panorama of the wildlife sanctuary. In the early mornings, the soundscape is birdsong; in the evenings, the thrum of cicadas. At night when the forest falls silent, a frozen spray of stars arches across the sky, their natural light uncompromised due to our low-impact illumination.
Your tent is accessed via a raised private boardwalk, which flows from the central walkway linking our restaurant and bar, swimming pool and sunset deck, and the wellness centre.
